We're hiring a Business Development Manager to drive AfroSynergy's growth in West Africa — our largest and fastest-growing market. You'll be responsible for acquiring SMEs, international companies, and institutional partners onto the platform. What you'll do: - Identify and engage potential users: SMEs, exporters/importers, investors, and trade associations - Build relationships with chambers of commerce, trade bodies, and government agencies - Run demos, onboard new users, and ensure they reach their first deal - Gather market intelligence on trade corridors, pain points, and competitor activity - Represent AfroSynergy at trade events, conferences, and networking functions - Collaborate with product to relay user feedback and market needs - Hit monthly targets for new verified users, active deals, and partner sign-ups
- 4+ years in B2B business development, sales, or partnerships - Deep understanding of West African trade (Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, Ivory Coast) - Existing network in African business, trade, or investment communities - Experience with solution selling for platforms, SaaS, or fintech products - Strong communication and presentation skills - Comfortable with CRM tools and data-driven sales processes - Willingness to travel within West Africa - Bonus: experience with cross-border trade, logistics, or trade finance - Bonus: fluency in French (for Francophone West Africa)
