AfroSynergy manages escrow-protected payments across multiple currencies and payment providers (Stripe, Flutterwave, Paystack). We need a Finance & Escrow Operations Manager to oversee treasury, reconciliation, and financial operations. What you'll do: - Manage escrow account operations: funding, milestone releases, dispute holds, refunds - Perform daily reconciliation across Stripe, Flutterwave, and Paystack - Oversee commission calculations, facilitator payouts, and tax document generation - Manage treasury and cash flow across multiple currencies (USD, EUR, GBP, NGN, KES, ZAR, GHS) - Prepare financial reports, revenue recognition, and audit documentation - Work with compliance to ensure payment flows meet regulatory requirements - Collaborate with engineering on payment system improvements and automation - Manage relationships with payment providers and banking partners
- 5+ years in finance operations, treasury, or payment operations - Experience with multi-currency payment processing - Understanding of escrow mechanics, milestone-based payments, or trade finance - Strong reconciliation and financial reporting skills - Experience with Stripe, or similar payment platforms - Knowledge of financial regulations across multiple jurisdictions - Advanced Excel/Google Sheets; comfort with financial systems - Bonus: experience with African payment providers (Flutterwave, Paystack, mobile money) - Bonus: CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification
